The project and my part
The project
Antihilator is a 12 lb combat robot with a vertical kinetic weapon, built by UCI ACE Robotics. I was a chassis engineer on it from January 2025 to January 2026.
My part
- Helped design, prototype and refine the robot
- Redesigned mechanical parts such as the drivetrain in SolidWorks for durability and manufacturability
- Turned CAD models into practical, machinable parts with my teammates
- Design reviews aimed at machining feasibility, shorter production time and less material waste
